ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said “No talks are taking place between the government and the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)”.

The FO spokesperson made this statement in a weekly briefing, saying that the government has said on several occasions that talks with TTP would go against thousands of affected families.

She said that during the visit of the President of Belarus, memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements on cooperation in various fields were signed between the two countries.

She also informed that National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is visiting Russia at the invitation of the Russian Speaker, and an MoU will also be signed during the visit.

Baloch said that Pakistan condemns the ongoing Israeli barbarity in Palestine, and the international community should take immediate steps to stop the genocide of Palestinians and hold Israel accountable for aggression and genocide.
