Pakistan’s Haider Ali wins bronze medal in Men’s discus throw in Paralympics

Pakistani athlete Haider Ali, who hails from Gujranwala, threw the season-best discus with 52.54 meters in the first throw of the final of the Men’s Discus Throw and won a bronze medal at the Paralympics.

The competition for discus throws was held in Paris.

Haider’s first throw was 52.28 meters.

Haider Ali’s second, third, fourth, and fifth attempts have been wasted.

Arshad threw his season’s second-best throw of discus with 52.54 meters in his sixth and final attempt.

The brave athlete is living with Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of conditions that affect movement and posture, typically caused by damage that occurs to the developing brain, most often before birth.
