Pakistan Test ranking slips to 8th position after poor performance

Pakistan Test cricket team moved from sixth to eighth in the latest ICC Test rankings.

The current rating points of the national test team is only 76. This is the Pakistan team’s lowest rating point since 1965. International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the ranking of Test players and to the consistency in the poor performance, cricketer Babar Azam is out of the top 10 list of batsmen.

Babar Azam has moved down to 12th position after being demoted by three ranks. Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan retained 10th position while England’s Joe Root’s number on number 1 position.

It is pertinent to note that no player from Pakistan is included in the top 10 bowlers. Shaheen Afridi’s 11th rank after downgrading by one rank.
