National anthem will be sung by record number of people this independence day

Sindh Governor Mohammed Kamran Khan Tessori announced that renowned singer Atif Aslam, among others, will perform at the upcoming Independence Day concert.

Speaking at a press conference, he highlighted that Pakistan will celebrate Independence Day on August 14 with great enthusiasm. Tessori added that the record-breaking event will feature 100,000 people singing the national anthem to demonstrate their patriotism.

According to him, the Independence Day celebration is expected to attract 500,000 attendees and the stage preparations will begin soon.

Describing the event as a special gift for Karachi’s residents, he encouraged the city’s people to join the Independence Day festivities.

Tessori praised Arshad Nadeem for making the country proud by winning gold at the ongoing Olympics in Paris. He described Nadeem as a national hero who is receiving strong support and encouragement.

Earlier, the governor announced a prize of Rs. 2 million for Nadeem. Moreover, the Sindh government also announced a Rs. 50 million reward for him.

This was announced by Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab on X (formerly Twitter).
