According to details, the report surfaced in line with the removal of senior manager Wahab Riaz and manager Mansoor Rana following the debacle.

The coaches had raised the question about the “seriousness of some of the players of the national team during the recently held mega event in the Caribbean and United States.

The report stated: “Wahab Riaz and Mansoor Rana had not guided Shaheen Shah Afridi in the right way.”

Gary Kirsten and Azhar Mahmood have also mentioned lobbying of players against each other.
