Justice Aalia Neelum has been nominated as the first woman chief justice of the Lahore High Court. The Judicial Commission of Pakistan, chaired by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, unanimously approved her nomination on Tuesday.
During a significant session of the Judicial Commission, the name of Justice Neelum was put forward and received unanimous approval, marking a milestone in the country’s judicial history.
