Indian singer and musician Vishal Dadlani has stepped forward to support a female security officer who slapped Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport.
The incident, which occurred due to a disagreement over Ranaut’s remarks about farmers, led to the suspension of the officer, identified as Kalwinder Kaur, by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Reacting to the incident, Vishal Dadlani expressed his understanding of the officer’s frustration. “I do not support violence,” Dadlani stated, “but I can understand the anger that led to this incident.” He further added that if Kaur lost her job over the incident, he would ensure she found employment elsewhere.
