Pakistani mountaineer Sirbaz Khan summits Everest without oxygen

1 min read

Pakistani climber Sirbaz Khan has successfully summited Mount Everest without the use of artificial oxygen, becoming the second Pakistani to achieve this feat.

This follows Sajid Sadpara, who previously accomplished the same challenge. Khan’s ascent of Everest adds to his remarkable record of climbing 11 of the world’s 14 highest peaks, all without supplemental oxygen.

This makes him the first and only Pakistani to have climbed so many 8,000-meter peaks without oxygen support.

Collectively, Pakistani climbers have now reached the summits of 13 out of 14 of the world’s highest mountains.

Khan’s latest achievement highlights the growing prowess and dedication of Pakistani mountaineers in the global climbing community.
