Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan has signed with the Colombo Strikers for the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2024, set to commence on July 1 in Pallekele, Sri Lanka.
Shadab, who has also served as the vice-captain of Pakistan’s T20I team, will join the Strikers after the T20 World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to be held in the United States and West Indies from June 1.
The Colombo Strikers expressed their excitement on their X (formerly Twitter) account, welcoming Shadab with a post: “Game changer alert! @76Shadabkhan is now part of the Colombo Strikers family! Can’t wait to see him in action.”
It is worth noting that the LPL 2024 player auction is set to take place on May 21, featuring 420 players. Players from 24 cricket-playing nations, encompassing all ICC full member nations, have enlisted for the auction, competing for selection into one of the five teams.
