The International Cricket Council (ICC) issued on Wednesday its new rankings on Wednesday, establishing Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav as the top batter in T20I rankings.
According to details, following closely behind was England’s Phil Salt, securing the second spot. Pakistan wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan claimed the third position.
South African batter Aiden Markram made a significant leap to the fourth spot in the T20I rankings.
Pakistan white-ball captain Babar Azam dropped to fifth place.
In the all-rounder rankings, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan was number one. Meanwhile, England spinner Adil Rashid spearheaded the bowling charts.
None of Pakistan’s bowlers managed to break into the top ten rankings. However, Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi climbed up to the 17th position.
