Pakistan has witnessed the departure of over 542,981 Afghan nationals back to their homeland as of April 22, 2024, with the repatriation process still underway.

During the ten-day span from April 13 to April 22, a total of 7,041 Afghan citizens, comprising 2,967 men, 1,834 women, and 2,240 children, chose to return to Afghanistan voluntarily.

The repatriation efforts have been marked by the return of 267 families, who were transported in 213 vehicles, ensuring their safe journey back to Afghanistan.

This concerted endeavor aims to address the challenge of illegal immigration while facilitating the return of Afghan nationals to their home country.
