Rainfall in Dubai: Passengers stranded at Airport for last 17 hours

Due to constant rainfall in Dubai, Passengers going from Karachi to Dubai have been stucked at Al Ain Airport form the last 17 hours.

The flight from Karachi to Dubai landed at Al Ain Airport last day. Passengers are not even allowed to go out of the airport due to not having a Dubai visa.

It is important to mention that UAE specially Dubai is facing the worst ever rainfall in the last 75 years. the whole life system was disrupted in less then 24 hours.

Roads, underpasses metro systems all were filled up with rainwater. The sewerage system of Dubai was completely collapsed.

Dubai International Airport faced unprecedented chaos as heavy rain and thunderstorms wreaked havoc, flooding crucial areas and disrupting travel plans for thousands of passengers.

Operations at the airport were temporarily suspended for 25 minutes to address the disruption, highlighting the severity of the situation. The airport management confirmed the challenges faced due to major flooding on roads leading to the airport, exacerbating the already tumultuous conditions.
