Famous Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi registered his marriage after 25 years. According to sources, the couple registered their marriage in court on January 23 before their Valentine Day’s silver jubilee celebrations.
Maria Goretti and Arshad tied the knot on February 14, 1999. Following a customary nikah, they also participated in a church ceremony where they walked down the aisle.
The actor said they registered their marriage since they understood how important it is in the coming future and for the handling of property-related issues.
The marriage was registered under the Special Marriage Act, and only witnesses were allowed, because of which their children were not able to attend.
