Chinese dancers perform on Saudi int’l art festival

RIYADH: The third edition of the Qemam International Festival for Mountain Performance Arts kicked off on Saturday in Khamis Mushait, Asir Region, southwest of Saudi Arabia, and will last till Jan. 27.

With the participation of 20 groups from Saudi Arabia and 25 international groups, the art festival, organized by the Saudi Theater and Performing Arts Commission, aims to promote awareness of the rich art and historical heritage of the kingdom.

Chinese dancers from the Shanghai Film Art Academy performed traditional Chinese dance during the festival, attracting many visitors.
