Army, FC arrange cross country challenge trophy in south Waziristan

Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) South organized the Cross-Country Challenge Trophy in South Waziristan at Gomalzam Dam wherein South Waziristan thanked the military authorities for providing sports opportunities.

Around 300 players from 59 teams from South Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), and Tank participated in the competition.

The local people rejected the activities of extremism and appreciated various initiatives for the promotion of sports. About 1, 000 heads of state and sports enthusiasts attended the matches and cheered their respective teams.

At the end of the competition, each team was given a cash prize of Rs10,000 while the winning team got Rs0.3 million Rs0.2 million to the runner-up team, and Rs0.1 million to the third position team.
