Quetta Gladiators on Saturday welcomed former Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait as their bowling coach for the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Gladiators penned a welcoming note for Shaun Tait. “Purple Force gets another Australian boost as Shaun Tait joins Quetta Gladiators as bowling coach.”

“Tait, one of the fastest bowlers to have ever played the game, will work with Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Amir, Muhammad Wasim Jr., and co,” the Gladiators stated.

Few days back, former Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur voiced his concerns over the snub of batter Haider Ali from the ninth edition of the PSL.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Arthur rallied behind the 23-year-old cricketer. “Haider Ali is a very good player who needs clear role clarity and backing,” he said.

Haider Ali is a very good player who needs clear role clarity and backing…there is so much potential in him, can’t believe a franchise has not given him a spot!!
