Haris Rauf clinches worst bowling record in history of ICC World Cup

The national cricket team’s fast bowler, Haris Rauf, has reportedly claimed the worst record in the history of the ICC World Cup.

Haris Rauf clinched nine wickets against 533 runs in nine matches of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 with 16 wickets at an average of 33.31, which is the most runs given by any bowler in a single World Cup edition.

Previously, this record was held by England’s Adil Rashid who gave 526 runs in the 2019 World Cup.

Moreover, Sri Lanka’s Dilshan Madhushanka was on the third spot with the worst bowling by giving away 525 runs in the same World Cup, Australia’s Mitchell Starc is on the fourth spot with 502 runs in the 2019 World Cup, Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman is fifth with 484 runs in World Cup 2019, while Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi is the sixth worst bowler in the ongoing 2023 World Cup with.
