Preston University observes Kashmir Day in solidarity with Kashmiris in Islamabad

Preston University Islamabad organized full-day activities to show solidarity with the Kashmiri People. Multiple activities were carried out and different departments participated in these activities. Professor Dr. Aurangzeb (Management Sciences Department) briefed the audience about the historical background of the Kashmir issue and also discussed human rights violations. Professor Dr. Mumtaz Fatima Jafari (Dept. Psychology) focused on the rights of self-determination and the true spirit of jihad. She also stressed character building to lay a strong foundation for society. In the end, Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Daud Awan Vice Chancellor shed light on the cruelty and brutality of Indian forces in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He demanded the solution in the light of United Nations resolutions. Faculty members, staff and students attended the seminar. They expressed solidarity with Kashmiri and vowed to continue supporting the struggle for freedom. After that, the walk was led by Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Daud Awan Vice Chancellor along with Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb. The participants were holding placards and banners inscribed with the slogans of freedom of Indian Occupied Kashmir, demanding the international community to take notice of human rights violations in the region.
