PHNOM PENH: Contestants were busy taking part in a buffalo race in Kandal province, Cambodia, with their beloved buffaloes beautifully adorned with glittering headgear.

The event is held to mark the end of the Pchum Ben festival, or the Ancestors’ Day, focusing more on having fun instead of winning or losing.
