Actor couple Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed have a reason to celebrate, as the couple announced they are expecting their first child.

Urwa took to Instagram to announce the good news to her 6.1 million followers on Friday night by sharing a photograph, as the duo got ready to attend the Lux Style Awards.

Sharing the same picture, Urwa and Farhan captioned the photograph as: “It’s the 3 of us tonight! Mashallah”

The news was met with a barrage of felicitations as soon as it was shared, with industry friends, family members and others sent congratulatory messages to #UrHan.

Tv personality Mathira commented it was “such a great news for you both”. She called it “just the best news. Guys plz plz plz say Mashallah (sic)”.

Model and entrepreneur Nadia Hussain, actor sisters Aiman and Minal Khan, Kinza Hashmi, Zara Noor Abbas, Saboor Aly, Yashma Gill, Sarah Khan, Maryam Nafees, Zarnish Khan, Uzma Hassan, Ghana Ali, Urwa’s actor sister Mawra Hocane and model Sadaf Kanwal were among those who commented on Urwa’s post.

Urwa and Farhan got married in a very private event in 2016 at the Badshahi Mosque after he proposed to her at the Eiffel Tower in the ‘city of love’, Paris. Their grand celebrations later lasted for over a week with three dholkis, a nikah, qawwali night and a huge reception.

However, all has not been well in the Hocane-Saeed household. Towards the end of 2020, rumours abound that the famous reel- and real-life ha separated and were headed for a divorce. And these reports continued to float well up until 2022. That’s when it appeared the actors had got back together as they were seen attending a couple of events together.

It was the Eid of 2022 when the couple put all the rumours to rest by sharing a happy photograph on the joyous occasion.
