Bangladesh is in the grip of a severe dengue fever outbreak, with more than 800 people losing their lives to this mosquito-borne disease.

The latest data from the Ministry of Health reveals a grim picture.

In the current year, Bangladesh has seen 164,562 cases of dengue, and September has been particularly hard, with 211 deaths.

August and July were also tough, with 342 and 204 deaths, respectively. The numbers are alarming, and it’s crucial to understand that dengue is most active from June to September in Bangladesh, making it a high-risk period.

This situation demands immediate attention and action from both the government and the public. Controlling mosquito breeding sites and spreading awareness about prevention measures are vital in the fight against dengue.

Bangladesh is facing a serious health crisis, and it’s on all of us to work together to combat this deadly disease.
