A new study has found that Malta has the highest levels of body confidence in the world, while the UK has the lowest.

The study, conducted by researchers at Anglia Ruskin University, surveyed over 56,000 people from 65 countries.

Participants were asked to rate how much they agreed with statements such as “I respect my body” and “I appreciate the different and unique characteristics of my body”.

The results showed that people in Malta had the highest average score for body appreciation, followed by Taiwan, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan.

At the other end of the scale, people in Australia had the lowest average score, followed by India, the UK, Ireland, Ukraine, Germany, and the USA.

The study also found that people who live in rural areas and those who are single tend to have higher levels of body appreciation than those who live in urban areas and are married.

The researchers say that the findings highlight the importance of promoting positive body image around the world.

They suggest that governments, schools, and businesses can play a role in this by challenging negative stereotypes about body image and celebrating diversity.

The researchers hope that the findings of this study will encourage people around the world to embrace their bodies and to celebrate their unique beauty.
