Singer Ali Sethi has denied rumors of his supposed marriage to a Pakistani artist. He took to his Instagram stories late Friday to share the clarification.
“I am not married. I don’t know who started the rumour but maybe they should help market my new release,” he wrote, plugging in a link to his new album, Paniya.
Social media was awash with widespread speculation about Sethi’s marriage to a Pakistani artist in the US. No one, however, could provide an actual source of information.
Sethi is best known for his Coke Studio hit ‘Pasoori’ that skyrocketed him to fame. He has performed at Coachella and even made it to TIME Magazine’s TIMES100 list. Sethi’s signature musical style is a blend of traditional ghazal and modern pop music.
