To take on professional social networking platform LinkedIn, Twitter seems to be working on a job posting feature that will allow verified companies to post job listings on their profiles.
The company created an account ‘@TwitterHiring’ on the micro-blogging platform, but has yet to tweet anything from it.
App researcher Nima Oji posted a screenshot Thursday detailing the feature and said, “#Twitter will allow verified organizations to import all their work into Twitter by attaching a supported ATS or XML feed!”

“Connect a supported applicant tracking system or XML feed to add your work to Twitter in minutes.”
According to the screenshot, the company describes the feature as “Twitter Hiring” which is a “free” feature for verified companies to post jobs on your company profile and attract top talent to your open positions.
Additionally, verified organizations can add up to five job vacancies to their profile.
Twitter owner Elon Musk hinted at this feature in May this year. When a user suggested a dating app ‘Twinder’, Musk replied, “Interesting idea, maybe even a job.”
Media company Workweek already has access to the new job posting feature, and its CEO Adam Ryan claims the feature is included in the Rs 82,300-per-month Verify for Organization plan.
While users are already able to post job openings on the micro-blogging platform via tweets, the new feature can help companies reach potential candidates easily.
TechCrunch reported that Twitter’s first acquisition since Musk’s takeover was job-matching tech startup Lasky in May. So, it is possible that the acquisition helped the micro-blogging platform to develop and release the feature.
