The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to cancel the scheduled Pakistan Super League (PSL) workshop, which was scheduled to be held on June 23 in Lahore. This announcement was conveyed to all franchisees through an email, informing them of the development. The workshop was initially planned to discuss the addition of two more teams to the PSL and to develop a credible formula that would convince franchise owners to support the expansion.
The initiative to expand the PSL was spearheaded by Najam Shetty, former chairman of the PCB management committee. Sethi was actively advocating for the inclusion of two additional teams in the tournament. The objective of the workshop was to facilitate discussions and reach consensus among stakeholders.
