Giant-footed pigeons that look like two birds in one from space

A video of a novel UK breed of pigeon has gone viral on social media, calling it a “mutant pigeon” because its breasts and legs are so large and long that it is suspected to be an artificial intelligence (AI) spawn. Or a strange species of bird from outer space.

The video was uploaded to social media platform TikTok with 18.6 million views, as people expressed their thoughts on what it could be or if it is real.

This pigeon is known as an English Powter which is known to have evolved over the years with other breeds of pigeons. Moreover, they are also said to be descendants of rock pigeons.

In the video, the pigeon is seen walking on a table with long legs and a large chest. Its legs were covered with feather pants.

It is a species of homing pigeon that is “the tallest breed of fancy pigeon with the largest reaching 16 inches,” according to Backyard Poultry.

People began reacting to the video by saying things like: “This is not an act of nature, this poor thing walking around without seeing its legs. They come in all shapes and sizes.”

“Like many different types of domesticated dogs, domesticated pigeons come in all shapes and sizes, like this Powter Pigeon,” they wrote, as reported. Daily Star.

The bird’s almost otherworldly appearance prompted one person to ask: “What in Pokemon is this?”

Another user added that they didn’t realize the bird was actually a “special species” and was supposed to look like it.

“The bird is very unique,” they wrote.

While many commented on its long legs, one person wrote: “Never skip a leg day!”

This breed is also regarded as the “supermodel of the pigeon world” due to its unusual appearance.
