LAHORE: A couple was killed in Wahdat Colony area here in provincial capital during the short hours of Friday night.
According to the police, a man with the help of her sister’s husband killed his sister and the person with whom she was currently residing in Wahdat colony area of Lahore. The police said upon receiving information of robbery the police party arrived at the scene, the door was locked and police tried to break in to save the hostages. However, meanwhile, the suspects stabbed the victims to death.
The deceased were identified as Umm-e-Kalsoom and Usama, whereas the prime suspects were identified as Bilal and her sister’s husband Shafqat. The police have recovered pistol, bullets and dagger from the suspects.
A case regarding the incident was registered by the police and investigation have begun to determine the truth and bring the culprits to justice.
