LAHORE, Nov 11(ABC): Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Friday said that the news circulating about the appointment of the Army Chief is merely based on speculations.
Taking to Twitter, the defence minister said that no decision was made about COAS’ appointment during the meeting between PM Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif. He added that consultations were made in this regard, but the decision will be made after the start of the constitutional process with consultations.
