ISLAMABAD, Nov 6(ABC): The federal cabinet on Sunday approved the increase in the margin of oil marketing companies (OMCs) by 63 per cent.
Sources privy to the matter said that the increase in the OMCs’ margin on petrol and diesel by Rs2.32 to reach Rs6 was approved through circulation by the federal cabinet.
As per sources, the rise will be subject to the Ministry of Finance’s prior permission after a review of the POL prices.
