Writ filed in PHC against KP CM

PESHAWAR, June 05(ABC): A writ was filed in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Saturday against Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, seeking court’s assistance to restrain the KP CM from using irresponsible statements and force of the chief minister for political purposes.

The writ stated that the KP CM had claimed to use KP force in the next long march, adding that the force of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not a personal force of the KP CM but it is for establishing peace in the country and the province and also for the protection of the citizens.

In the writ, Chief Secretary, IG, Secretary Home, Home Secretary Islamabad, Secretary Cantonment Division Islamabad have been made party. The writ was filed by Supreme Court lawyer Mohim Afridi.
