The installation of M-Tags on vehicles in Islamabad is progressing efficiently, authorities said on Saturday.
According to the district administration, a total of 3,636 vehicles were fitted with M-Tags in a single day across 10 service points throughout the city.
Major points saw high traffic: I-8 recorded 952 vehicles, Sector 26 had 547, and F-9 Park processed 495 vehicles. Other locations included Gulberg Greens (366), Tarlai (315), and Excise Office (281). Smaller points such as Lake View Park, F-7, Islamabad Club, and I-11 served between 86 and 268 vehicles each.
District Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon said services will continue on Saturdays and Sundays, with citizens able to visit the points from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. throughout the week. He added that the initiative aims to ensure continuous convenience and relief for city residents.
