Pakistani actor and model Hasan Ahmed has shared a detailed account of his 35-day kidnapping, describing the ordeal as one of the most traumatic experiences of his life.
Ahmed appeared on a private TV show, where he spoke about his career, personal life, and the kidnapping incident. He said the abduction occurred after he left a shoot one night and stopped at an ATM. According to Ahmed, five to six men forced him into his own car and later transferred him to another vehicle at a vacant plot in Defence, Karachi.
He was reportedly tied with chains and kept under constant control, only being untied to eat or use the restroom.
“The abductors held me for 35 days. After ransom negotiations, the CPLC got involved and an operation was carried out against the kidnappers. I was not present at the time, but during the raid, some money dropped from the kidnappers and one accomplice was arrested while the others escaped,” Ahmed recounted.
He added that the following morning, a man unrelated to the kidnapping came to release him, saying, “I was not part of your abduction; only my car was used.” Ahmed described seeing daylight for the first time in 35 days.
Speaking about the aftermath, Ahmed said, “My mental state was so disturbed that I began crying as soon as I got home. I even sought forgiveness from everyone at home, including the staff, but to this day I do not know if the kidnappers were caught.”
Earlier, Ahmed’s wife, actress Sanita Marshall, had also spoken in an interview about her husband being held captive for over a month.
