The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration wing foiled an attempt by an Afghan national to travel to Europe using a forged resident card.
According to FIA officials, the passenger, identified as Jannat Gul Niazi, was scheduled to fly to France on PK749. He was found attempting to use a fake Greek resident card to board the flight.
The suspect has been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad for further investigation, as authorities continue to probe the case.
FIA officials emphasized their continued vigilance at airports to prevent illegal travel and human trafficking activities.
