Dubai International Airport (DXB) welcomed 3.2 million Pakistani passengers during the first nine months of 2025, according to new data released by Dubai Airports. Pakistan ranked fourth among all nationalities using DXB this year.

Officials noted that Pakistani travellers continue to rely heavily on Dubai for tourism, business, family visits, employment opportunities and as a major transit hub for Europe, the Middle East and the United States. Dubai International remains the primary gateway for travel between Pakistan and the UAE.

The report shows DXB achieved the highest quarterly passenger traffic in its 65-year history. From July to September 2025, the airport processed 24.2 million passengers, an increase of 1.9 percent from last year. Between January and September, overall traffic reached 70.1 million passengers, marking a 2.1 percent rise year-on-year.

Over the past 12 months, DXB set a new annual record with 93.8 million passengers. Expansion work is also underway at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 to accommodate rising demand, particularly from South Asian travellers.

In the country-wise breakdown, India led with 8.8 million passengers, followed by Saudi Arabia with 5.5 million, while 4.6 million passengers from the United Kingdom travelled through DXB.

Operational performance remained strong, with 99.6 percent of departing passengers clearing immigration in under ten minutes, while 99.8 percent of arriving passengers completed the process in less than fifteen minutes.

Dubai International handled 115,000 flights during the third quarter. Total aircraft movements during the first nine months reached 336,000 flights.
