Pakistani television actress Yashma Gill has revealed that her father remained upset with her for nearly a year after she entered the entertainment industry and stopped speaking to her during that period.

Speaking about her early career, Yashma said she began acting after completing her education in Australia and returning to Pakistan. She shared that she had been interested in the media and entertainment field from the beginning, which led her to choose acting as her profession. Over time, she has established a strong presence in the drama industry.

Recently, she appeared as a guest on a private television channel’s Ramadan transmission, where she discussed key moments from her personal life and early career.

According to the actress, her father initially opposed her decision due to the general perception surrounding the showbiz industry. After she formally began acting, he did not communicate with her for approximately one year.

Yashma said that during the month of Ramadan, she eventually greeted her father, who responded, marking the beginning of reconciliation between them. Later, when she decided to perform Umrah, she required a (male guardian) for the journey and requested her father to accompany her.

She added that during the pilgrimage, her father observed the respect and positive treatment she received from people because of her professional work. This experience gradually changed his perspective, and he realized that his daughter may have chosen the right path.

Following this journey, their relationship improved significantly, and they grew closer. The actress’s remarks are receiving attention on social media, where fans have appreciated her story of patience, understanding, and family reconciliation.
