Pakistan has strongly condemned the latest attacks by Israeli occupying forces in Gaza, terming them a grave violation of international law and a blow to regional peace efforts.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said the Israeli strikes had killed and wounded innocent Palestinians, including children and women. He stated that Israel’s actions constitute serious violations of international laws as well as the recently concluded peace agreement reached in Sharm el-Sheikh.
“These attacks sabotage ongoing peace efforts and openly breach the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement,” Andrabi said, calling on the international community to halt Israeli impunity and stop ceasefire violations.
The Foreign Office urged immediate measures to ensure respect for international human rights and humanitarian law.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s long-standing position, the spokesperson said the country supports the creation of an independent, sovereign and contiguous Palestinian state with pre-1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
