Rashid Nasim, Pakistan’s most prolific Guinness World Record holder, and his daughter Fatima Nasim have added three more world records to their achievements.
Residents of Shah Faisal Colony in Karachi, the father-daughter duo recently took part in a new category introduced by Guinness World Records on its 70th anniversary. Fatima Nasim set a record by popping 76 balloons in 30 seconds while holding an egg in each hand, surpassing the target of 70 balloons.
Rashid Nasim broke 42 marble tiles using a sledgehammer, exceeding the benchmark of 35 tiles. He also set another record by popping two balloons simultaneously using both fists, a feat that required precision and coordination.
Guinness World Records highlighted their achievements through a special video and message on its official page, which has already been viewed by over 100,000 people.
Rashid Nasim has previously showcased his skills internationally in countries including Italy, Germany, Spain, South Korea, China, Singapore, and Romania, earning global recognition for Pakistan without any government sponsorship.
Speaking to the media, Rashid Nasim said achieving world records and appearing on international TV shows without official support is extremely challenging. He expressed hope that his and his daughter’s efforts would be formally acknowledged at the governmental level.
