Former Pakistan cricket captain Azhar Ali has resigned from his roles at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), sources confirmed on Tuesday.
According to PCB officials, Azhar Ali submitted his resignation citing dissatisfaction with certain PCB policies. He has declined to continue with his responsibilities as Director of Youth Development and as a national team selector.
Sources added that the PCB has not yet formally accepted his resignation. Azhar’s departure marks a significant change in the board’s administration, as he had been playing a key role in shaping Pakistan’s emerging cricket talent.
