The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting successfully organized the “Uraan Pakistan Family Festival” at F-9 Park, bringing together residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi for a day of fun and celebration.
The festival, held under the guidance of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, reflected the government’s focus on people-friendly policies and healthy recreational activities. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi played a key role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event, while district administrations and other agencies provided support for foolproof security arrangements, allowing the festival to proceed safely.
Thousands of citizens, including women, children, youth, and seniors, participated in the festival on Sunday. The event featured multiple family zones, activity stalls, and stage performances that created a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere.
Before the festival, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited F-9 Park to review arrangements and ensure the event met safety and organizational standards. He emphasized the importance of providing healthy entertainment opportunities to promote social harmony and community engagement.
Performances by popular Pakistani singers Atif Aslam, Farhan Saeed, Nimra Mehra, Jabar Abbas, and Zunib Zahid drew enthusiastic responses from the audience. Stage hosting was handled by Shafqat Ali and Sofia Ahmed, who added energy and charm to the program.
The festival also symbolized national resilience, showing that despite security challenges, citizens are committed to participating in positive social and cultural activities. The event not only offered recreation but also encouraged public engagement in national and community initiatives.
