ISLAMABAD: Popular Pakistani film and television actor Meera is in Makkah, Saudi Arabia to perform her Umrah. Meera has been quite active during her Umrah journey as she has been posting Instagram reels and pictures for her fans from Makkah and Madina.
Meera has successfully performed her Umrah and now she is busy offering prayers. Meera has also prayed for Pakistan.
During her prayer session, Meera loudly prayed, “O Allah please make my country Pakistan prosperous and developed, O Allah, I have come to your place, please accept my attendance”, she was praying while standing in front of the Khana Kaaba.
Well, people termed Meera’s prayers as overacting and a publicity stunt and didn’t appreciate it. They said Meera should also turn her head towards Khana Kaaba and pray in front of Kaaba. They didn’t like the fact that Khana Kaaba was at her back. Many people said she deliberately does these kind of things to remain in the news.
Many used harsh words for Meera and gave logical explanations to her wrong direction while making prayers. One or two social media users defended Meera and said she’s praying for the country and there is no harm in saying ‘Amen’ to her.
